You’ve probably heard that “You have to love yourself before you love others, and this is a bit of a blanket statement. It doesn’t really capture how different we are when it comes to love. However, there is truth to it, but loving yourself won’t make loving others easier. When you know your worth, it’s easier to trust that others love you, too.
