4. Not giving them space

When arguments happen, there is a lot of tension, and for some people, this can become uncomfortable and overwhelming. And because of this, it is possible that your partner might ask you to give them some space after you two had a fight.

Not respecting them and not giving them the space that they need is perhaps one of the worst mistakes couples make after a fight. Also, the same is true if they don’t give you space.

When someone needs a break, they should be able to take it. Maybe they want to think about what happened, or maybe they just want to sit alone for a while. It doesn’t matter the reason; you should always let them have the space that they want.

This will only help both of you manage the fight better, and there are numerous studies that tell us that conflicts and problems are better solved when everyone involved has a calm mind.
