6. Blaming your partner

This is for sure one of the worst mistakes couples make after a fight, and it is also one of the most common ones. You should never blame your spouse for the fight or what happened during it.

If they did something that you consider wrong, you should tell them this in a manner that does not affect them negatively. Telling them that everything is only their fault is not helping anyone and will eventually make things even worse.

It is OK to tell them how you feel, and if you consider that they did something that’s unfair to you, the best thing is to inform them about it. This is the only way you can solve a conflict. But as we said, do it in a way that is healthy and will help you build your relationship.
