You love your partner and want them to stay in your life, but, nevertheless, you’re scared that they will make the same mistake again, breaking your heart again. This is definitely a tough situation to be in. The logical side of your brain is probably telling you, “Once a cheater, always a cheater.” Yet, the emotional side is telling you to give your partner a second chance.

While we all make mistakes in relationships, cheating is a pretty hard-to-forget mistake. It’s up to you if you’re willing to forget your partner and work together on your relationship. The most important thing is whether he or she is remorseful for cheating and really wants to rebuild trust or not.
