9. One-night stand

A one-night stand is a one-time physical intimacy and often doesn’t imply emotional attachment, but it can destroy your marriage or relationship. If you find out that your significant other had a one-night stand you should consider breaking up with them.

Some relationships are open and partners are allowing the other person to have sexual encounters with other people without consequences, but if you don’t have an open relationship this can be an ultimatum.

If you know that you cannot live in a happy relationship with your significant other knowing that they slept with another person, even though they are not emotionally attached to them, then you should not forgive their mistake.
