7. Sleep on a Piece of Wedding Cake

This superstition has apparently turned into a wedding tradition, but we cannot help but see it as weird and… messy. As you may already be assuming, you have to take a piece of wedding cake home with you and sleep with it under your pillow. You can place it under your bed too, but will it be the same…? Well, we don’t know.

So, now that you have that piece of cake either on or under your bed, you can go to sleep, and you’re sure to have your future spouse appear in your dream. Honestly, we’re not sure how this tradition can be done without causing a whole mess or a pest issue. So, if you really want to sneak a piece of wedding cake home, it would be best to eat it instead.
