2. You’re not the real you with them
When you’re in a relationship with someone, particularly married, you learn everything about one another, both good and bad. Generally speaking, people have a hard time admitting that someone is going to know everything about them, but that feeling tends to fade away as the relationship grows stronger, happier, and healthier.
However, if you live with your spouse for some time already, but feel scared or weird to allow them to know you and discover all your flaws, it might not be a fulfilling relationship. When you constantly have to filter what you want to say or present yourself like, just so your spouse won’t discover the real you, it can actually mean a lack of respect and commitment.
