5. He can’t handle criticism

While it can be hard to handle criticism, it can be beneficial for one’s growth and self-development. However, a man-child is more likely to take everything personally, seeing every piece of feedback and suggestion as an assault. That’s because he cannot self-reflect, and he’s overly sensitive.

Moreover, a man like this is more likely to be defensive when you confront him with his shortcomings, and that leads us back to what we’ve previously talked about, aka victim mentality. Everything happens to him, and he’s way too caught up in his own world to notice that he has the chance to change what he doesn’t like.

You can offer him your support and patience and help him get through a difficult time. But if he refuses and doesn’t change anything in his behavior, you’re dating a man-child.

7.whem he’s feeling sick he wines and thinks he’s dieing
    8. He doesn’t take care of his personal business
    9. When I take him to the doctor’s he lies to the doctor’s and he doesn’t do anything that they ask him to do or not to do .

    16. He’s gotten tocwere he only baths 2 or 3 times a month ( he clams that he can’t get dirty doing nothing)
    17. He thinks I’m running around on him . ( I don’t have the time to , but I have thought about it . He doesn’t do anything to to make me feel good about our relationship )
    18. His boss took him to a strip club and he couldn’t wait to tell me all about it . ( yes with all the fine details about his trip to the strip club )
    19. He hates it when I’m right and does try to prove me wrong .
    20. He’s lousy with money and I’m always having to cover for something .
    21. Once every few years he tells me that he appreciates everything I’ve done for him snd doesn’t know where he’d be without me . ( then he turns around and starts getting hateful)
I could go on but I think you get the point .
We have been togather for 34 or 35 years and the past 4 years he’s been battling cancer and I think the cancer has alot to do with his behavior . But I’m at the point that I just might divorce him when he gets over this cancer . I need some TLC myself . He use to be a good man the first 10 years of our relationship but when his boss started taking him out on hunting and fishing trips and to the strip clubs he became an ass . Yes , I confronted his boss and told him not to be taking him to any more strip joints and that Bob has a big mouth and he definitely tell me if he goes , so his boss took Bob and a few of the other guys on a hunting trip and Bob called me from whorehouse telling me that the boss had gotten hookers for all of them and he wanted to come home but he couldn’t they were in the middleofnowhere . I know he cheated on me as soon as he came through the door . I could smell the cheap nasty perfume of the Mexican hookers on him and I did ask him about it , then told him that if he ever cheats on me again I’d supper glue it to both his legs . He still swears that he didn’t . But I know he did . It was all over him and it took weeks before the smell finally faded away . ( By the way I never yelled or bitched at him , I just told him how it was and let him know that I wouldn’t tolerate the behavior again .) I know that sounds a little strange but I had been cheated in the past and throwing a fit doesn’t accomplish nothing except for bad feelings for both partners and he did stop but he’s gotten a little mean .
