Get curious about your spouse.
When you first fell in love with your partner, you were probably extremely curious about what they were thinking and feeling. As you can imagine (or as you experienced yourself), couples might lose that ability over time.
One of the sexiest things in a relationship is being curious and showing interest in the other person without being necessarily driven by anything you might need. It’s one of the most important things because it helps you listen and be open to your partner.
When he or she is talking to you, you get involved in the discussion instead of wondering when they will finish talking. Also, if you say, “Can you tell me more about that?” it will make your partner feel valued and safe. It’s a very effective way to promote bonding.
Honor your boundaries.
Good boundaries are much more important than ever, especially since work, school, and all the other aspects of home life might take place under the same roof. If your partner is right in the middle of something and you walk up to them and start talking, the other person might feel like you’ve interrupted the way they were thinking or feeling.
