They Go Into Defense Mode FAST
Lying can make a person become very aggressive all of a sudden. When people are accused of something or feel they’re always being examined by their spouse, they naturally tend to become frustrated.
The issue escalates, however, when that individual becomes overly defensive. If they’re always on the defense, this tends to indicate that they really do have something to hide.
Someone who’s not guilty would be more open to discussion, and they would be calm while explaining themselves.
So if your significant other starts displaying violent signs because you don’t believe their story hook, line, and sinker, it’s likely that their story isn’t credible in the first place. Liars will always want to thrust their lies upon you.
Truthful people will be confident because they have nothing to hide.
