How many times did it happen to you to have a fight and then, after a while, have another fight about the same matter? This is something that occurs more than you think, and many couples remain stuck in the same conflict for years.
This can also be one of the reasons people choose to divorce! So, it is easy to say that ignoring an issue is one of the worst mistakes couples make after a fight. It might feel alright to try to not be bothered by the issue that is at the root of all your conflict, but this is not the best move.
It’s OK to discuss issues with your spouse when you need to or when you have a different viewpoint from them. Even if there is conflict as a result of this, you should be able to resolve it. Couples counseling is another option if you are unable to go through it on your own.
