3. Ignoring problems
This is a little bit different than the last one because, in this case, you are refusing to communicate what bothers you since you don’t want to start another fight. Being afraid to tell your partner what doesn’t feel right to you is another one of the worst mistakes couples make after a fight.
This might also mean that you have a problem setting your boundaries. When something happens and you are not okay with it, you should be able to tell your partner. Allowing things that are bothering you to happen and refusing to discuss them with your spouse is a clear sign that you are letting them not care about your limits.
In this case, communication is key, and you should not be afraid to tell them what you think is wrong. At first, this might seem impossible, but trust us when we tell you that this is a much better option than bottling up all of the inconveniences.
Holding all of this inside of you will always make you feel worse. If you know that your partner is not reacting well when you tell them about something that you don’t like, this should not stop you. Sometimes this is just the way people react when things are not going their way.
