Lots of people assume that just because they’re dating someone, their partner instantly knows that they automatically enjoy their company. I know this is often the case, but let’s be honest, there are some things that your partner should hear every day, such as “I love spending time with you” or reminding them how much you love having them around.

Another important cornerstone of ideal communication is catching up daily. I know these things don’t have to happen necessarily daily, but showing that you genuinely care about what’s going on in your loved one’s life is a nice thing to do.
