1. Your spouse makes little or no eye contact

Eye contact is a huge predictor of interest and attraction. When we like someone, we tend to look them in the eye, using every opportunity to show the other person we’re truly engaged in the discussion. It’s our unconscious way of letting people know we’re interested in what they’re saying. And this obviously applies to marriages too.

That’s why one of the first signs your spouse hates you is when she or he does the opposite. Their eye contact will be too short or even nonexistent. Pay attention to your spouse’s eyes, and if they prefer to look elsewhere but at you, it may be an indicator they hate you.
