Tell them what they bring to your life.

Let’s say you are in a relationship with your partner because you like them, and they bring a lot of value to your life in many different ways. A very basic script might go like this: “Because you are so kind and funny, I constantly feel appreciated, loved, and amused, and I thank you for that.”

This is one of the things that your partner should hear every day because it will remind them that they are valued. I mean, just think about how good it feels to let them know how much you appreciate them.

If you can’t think of anything on the spot, don’t worry; it doesn’t mean that you don’t love your partner. Just take the time to write down a couple of ideas, then commit to telling them in the upcoming days.

That you support them and their decisions.

Your partner should feel that you are always on their side, at least in most cases. If you sprinkle little words of affirmation like “you are right” and “I totally get that”, you will make them feel so much better, trust me.

This is definitely one of the things that your partner should hear every day, because, as you probably know, sometimes we doubt ourselves and our actions, and it’s so much better when we have someone around us to ease our anxiety.
