9. Know What You Want
If you’re in your senior years and you’re getting ready to start dating, be sure to know what you really want from a partner—what makes him “the one”?
Also, it’s important to think about and set your non-negotiable “deal breakers,” which are the things that completely make you not want to date a man. Sometimes, it’s easier to figure out what you don’t want than what you do want.
Equally important, make sure you know what kind of relationship you’re looking for. There’s a higher chance of a long-term relationship if you’re dating a man who has compatible relationship goals.
