7. Their Regret Is Obvious Even to Your Loved Ones
If your partner really regrets cheating on you and is willing to save your relationship, their efforts won’t go unnoticed by your close friends and family. Those close to you will be able to see his or her regret, and they will probably advise you to forgive her or him.
This tends to happen in long-term relationships where the cheating partner strayed for the first time. Maybe your loved ones won’t even know exactly what happened between you and your partner, but they will advise you not to throw away all you’ve built together for years over one mistake. Again, this is your decision, and it’s up to you whether you should forgive your partner or not.
If your friends and family’s opinions matter a lot to you, perhaps you’ll be inclined to agree with them. So, if your loved ones have good reasons to believe your cheating partner deserves a second chance, maybe you should really do that.
