1. Take it easy
I know that it’s probably a very hard thing to do given the situation, but don’t rush anything; take it easy, because this is only the start of trying to save your relationship.
Don’t go to any of your friends to complain about how bad things are in your marriage at the moment, because that will only hurt you. And don’t even think about drowning your emotions in things that might numb your feelings for a couple of hours, because you might regret those decisions later.
Just be patient, don’t let the anger come to you, don’t act out if you’re angry, talk calmly, and be gentle with yourself as well as with your spouse. You surely know all these things by now, but from my experience, fighting when you’re angry won’t solve any issues; it will only make them worse.
