6. Forgive them
Forgiveness is key when it comes to saving a marriage from divorce. You probably hurt each other a couple of times if you thought about separation, so before you could feel comfortable with one another, you had to forgive and be forgiven.
This is an incredible form of love, and it will make both of you feel better afterward. It allows the past to remain in the past while looking for a fresh start. I know it can be pretty hard to forgive someone who has hurt you a lot, but it will feel like a heavy weight is taken off your shoulders, and that’s pretty good.
