4. Listen
What do you really want to tell your partner? What’s your spouse trying to tell you? Sometimes it’s quite difficult to express the way you feel, and things might sound better in your head than in reality.
If your partner wants to talk to you, actively listen to what they try to tell you because that’s going to help you save your relationship and forget about divorce. Don’t forget about body language, because that’s also a way to understand someone’s message better.
Keep your ears, eyes, and heart wide open to your partner, and allow yourself to not think about anything while you’re having a conversation. That allows you to be present and mindful of the situation you’re in. Don’t think about how you’re going to reply to them; just listen.
