8. Watch Out for Brooms
This one is funny. According to this superstition that comes from Italian folklore, if you’re single, you should never let a broom sweep over your feet. And, no, this is not a metaphor, and it’s meant to be taken bizarrely literally.
If you do let a broom sweep across your feet, you’ll lose your chance to get married. So goes yet another superstition for single people. We can’t make this stuff up.
The good thing is that it’s probably pretty easy to avoid brooms. And if there’s anything that comforts us, it’s totally avoidable bad luck.
